Director of Tax and Accounting
We are looking for a Director of Tax and Accounting to work with the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer and Controller on all tax and accounting functions of the Discerene funds, general partnerships, and management company. This is a new role we’re creating because of the Firm’s growth.
Director of Tax and Accounting will:
- Manage all tax planning and compliance for the Discerene funds, general partnerships, and the management company.
- Assist partners of the Firm in personal tax planning and compliance matters
- Coordinate with external tax accountants and tax counsel on various matters
- Work with the Firm’s Controller in preparing all internal accounting records for all firm entities and assisting with year-end audits

Beyond these traits, we are looking for a CPA with 7-15 years of investment-partnership-related tax experience at a public accounting firm (Big Four or mid-sized firms), investment partnership, or family office.
