Hiroki Hasegawa´s Interview
In this interview, we discuss Hiroki’s singular journey from Japan to the US, by way of Continental Europe, the UK, and Ghana. Our wide-ranging conversation includes discussing why the real world is more interesting than make-believe ones, why limit cases can illuminate our understanding of more central ones, and what it means to “create a customer”!
Hiroki is an analyst at Discerene. Before joining the Firm, Hiroki worked at ThornTree Capital Partners, the International Finance Corporation, and J.P. Morgan. Hiroki has a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School, a Master of Public Administration degree in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (with general honors) from Johns Hopkins University. In his free time, Hiroki enjoys spending time with his family, running, skiing, and playing golf.
